Sacre Coeur

Sacre Coeur or Sacred Heart is a crown jewel on the skyline of Paris.  The white facade glows in the sun upon Montmarte.  I enjoyed touring it this summer and getting more of the history and background than I had when I have been before.  I wanted to portray the grand nature of it as it sits on the highest peak overlooking the city.

This painting is on gallery wrap canvas and framed in a silver and black floater frame.
