Sharing Shade

We have some lovely farms around northwest Georgia.  This scene is from one nestled against Lookout Mountain.  The summer day was warm and I was on my way to check out painting sites for an upcoming workshop.  The sheep were all together sharing the shade of the trees.  I had fun experimenting with drips for the grass.  A little different look for me.  I hope you like it!

This painting was selected for the Gadsden Art Association's 60th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Gadsden Museum of Art, Gadsden, Alabama.  The show runs July 27 through August 30.
