Notre Dame Paris plein air

This is a painting I did one fall across the river from Notre Dame.  You can walk by the river on wide sidewalks through the city.  I set up and had this view.  What I like about painting in Europe, they are so used to seeing painters that no one bothers you.  At one point, a large barge went by and water splashed up against the walkway.  Not to worry, I was close to the retaining wall.
