Sunny Fields

Imagine finding sunflower fields not far from my home after years of painting them in France and Italy.  The owners were so kind to let us paint on their property.  It was so hot that afternoon that I tried to stand in the shade created by the car.  But it was well worth the effort to see the sunny faces bob their heads up and down in the breeze.  This painting is linen on panel and framed in a gold wood frame.
